Chilling…Tuesday August 4, 2009

Blech…feel like a beached whale baking under the hot summer sun. Probably a bad idea weighing yourself whilst having unwelcome “houseguest”. Makes me feel like I’ve eaten poorly for the past week.  How can some women lose weight even at this time? I’m trying to compensate (and then some) by drinking my weight in water. 

Also, any ideas for working out in the heat? I probably should get in the pool, but I can’t even seem to motivate myself enough to do that.  Gosh, I sound like a sally-girl.  If I weren’t me, I wouldn’t feel sorry for myself one bit.  What’s going on??

    I hear yoga/stretching is great to do in the heat. Generally, on the hot days I try to get my excersise done as early in the morning as possible. Pool sounds great. But yeah, I hear you. When it’s hot, it’s tough to do anything. Hate heat!

    I try to bust it out early or once the sun is down.
    And pool of course is helpful.. and so dang refreshing. I was just where you are so I feel for ya but you got to just DO IT and push through
